Sweet crepes make nice breakfast, true, but this recipe offers even more. It is soft and moist and it is fruity depending on your filling. It makes a super decent dessert too.

How to Make Sweet Crepes

The recipe takes only simple ingredients and simple techniques. Following the directions will give you the softest crepes you will ever taste.


For Crepes

  • ½ cup of all purposes flour, unbleached
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, melt and cool
  • 1 tablespoon of cold water
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 whole eggs, beat lightly
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt

Fillings (all optional, choose your favorite)

  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Banana
  • Chocolate Sauce
  • Cinnamon
  • Powdered Sugar


1Take a medium mixing bowl and add together salt and flour. Set aside. Take another mixing bowl, and add together melted butter, water, milk, and egg. Whisk to combine them. Add this wet mixture to the previous dry mixture. Stir until it is well combined. Set aside to rest for 15 minutes. As a note, the pancake batter is thinner this time.

2Prepare an 8 inch skillet and put it over medium-high heat. Grease the surface with a little butter then add the batter. Don’t pour too much, just enough to cover the entire skillet surface. Cook for around one or two minutes. When it is cooked well, it will move if you shake it. So shake it and then flip. Cook the other side for another 15 minutes. Transfer to a tea towel. It should keep it warm and soft. Repeat the same procedure for the entire batter.

3For serving, add the filling you want in each of the crepe and fold it. Drizzle the chocolate sauce or the powdered sugar, or both if you want to. Make sure to put the crepes on the serving plate first before adding the filling and garnish to make it simpler. For even more twist, you can also serve with honey, marmalade, or butter.

The best thing about these Sweet crepes is you can use any filling and dressing just as you want it. The crepes already taste sweet and addicting. Meanwhile, the filling can be fresh and watery. It washes your mouth after fatty dinner, and it makes a refreshing dessert to end the night too.
