You may find cookies when you search for the recipe at first. But, this Salted Caramel Pretzel cocktail is surprisingly pretty popular. While it looks nothing like cocktail, it actually tastes strong and kicking. Being loaded with caramel taste, this cocktail is sweet and smooth at the same time, while it is also subtle and a little bit tart.

While other cocktail is more about fun and cheery, this one is elegant and classy. You can serve as it is and your guests will still be impressed.

How to Make Salted Caramel Pretzel

While mixing it on your cocktail shaker is fine, serving it without mixing it is also suggested many times. One of the best part of this recipe is that the entire ingredients can mix easily. So if you leave it without stirring, it gives your friends a little show on the color changing. It actually is pretty demonstrative and nice to watch.

However, mixing it well will make sure the complete taste is ready to enjoy. So, it is up to you how to serve it.

  • 2 drops of aromatic bitters
  • ¾ ounce of hazelnut liqueur
  • 1 ounce of caramel liqueur
  • 1½ ounce of salted caramel vodka
  • Ice cubes
  • Maldon sea salt flakes

1Prepare your cocktail shaker and add together salted caramel vodka, caramel liquer, hazelnut liqueur, sea salt flakes, and the aromatic bitters. Add the ice cubes and shake a little. Take your serving glass and add fresh ice cubes in it. Strain the cocktail into the serving glass.

2In alternative to shake the cocktail, you can add together the entire ingredients into your serving glass. Make sure to add ice cubes first into the glass before adding anything else. Add vodka at the last turn and add rosemary sprig for a little garnish. This serving alternative allows you to see color combination and turn in a pleasing way.

If you are feeling fancy in any way, or if you plan this Salted Caramel Pretzel cocktail to be served in your sophisticated occasion, dress it up. Rim the glass with caramel sauce and roll it on crushed pretzel for rimming. Put the glass in the fridge before serving and add pretzel stick for garnish. It will be even more delightful and your guests will have nothing to complain.
