How to cook Spicy Shrimp Pasta with Tomatoes and Garlic
With only 40 minutes, you can make four portions of Spicy Shrimp Pasta with Tomatoes and Garlic at home.
- 450 gr of raw peeled and deveined shrimp, keep the peels for the stock
- 400 ml of water
- Some sprigs of parsley
- six cloves of garlic
- 30 ml of olive oil
- 300 gr of halved grape, you may also use cherry tomatoes
- A can of diced tomatoes
- Red pepper flakes, you may add more if you want
- 320 gr of linguine, you also may use capellini or spaghetti

1First, you can start by making the shrimp stock. Here, you need to prepare a stock pot. Then, fill it with the shrimp peels, water, peppercorns, parsley, two cloves of garlic and salt. Then, heat the pot up until it gets boiled. After that, lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the stock until you get a cup full of shrimp stock.
2Next, you need to prepare a large pot and fill it with water. Turn on the heat and boil the water. Then, add salt and pasta to it. For further instructions, you may follow the ones written in the package and then drain the pasta. Next, you may set the pasta aside.
3After that, you need to prepare a saucepan. Heat it up with two tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high. Next, you may add the remaining garlic cloves and red pepper flakes in it. Stir and cook these ingredients for around a minute until the garlic sizzle.
4Then, add the shrimp stock in it and simmer for several minutes. After that, you may add the cherry tomato and the diced tomatoes as well.
