Ingredients:

  • 450 gr of chicken breasts without the bones and skins
  • 30 ml of olive oil
  • 400 ml of chicken broth with low sodium
  • 200 gr of salsa verde
  • 200 gr of heavy whipping cream
  • 600 gr of penne pasta, no need to cook
  • Salt and pepper as the seasoning
  • 300 gr of shredded pepper jack cheese

Directions:

1The first thing to start is to cut the chicken breasts into smaller cubes. Here, you may cut them into the bite size pieces for around an inch cubes. Next, you may give seasoning into the chicken with a little bit of salt and ground black pepper. After that, follow the next step below.

2To continue, you need to prepare a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat with the olive oil in it. After the oil gets hot enough, you may put the chicken on it. Also, make sure you arrange them into one single layer. Do some batches if they are not enough at once.

3Next, cook the single-layered chicken cubes for around 5 minutes until the color turns golden brown. In cooking the chicken cubes, don’t forget to flip the chicken to make all parts of the chicken are completely cooked. Then, turn off the heat and place them on a plate to set aside for a while.

4Still using the same skillet, add other remaining ingredients in it, like the salsa verde, the chicken broth, the uncooked pasta, the heavy whipping cream along with salt and pepper as the seasoning. Stir and cook the mixture until it gets boiled and put the cover on.
