A properly cooking carrot contains much antioxidant beta-carotene which can produce a strong flavor and contain much nutrients value. Simply combine these cooked carrots with other tropical fruits like peaches and mangos to give more taste to your baby puree. Besides, some leaves of mint will make this a perfect puree that you must try to your toddler.
How to make Peach + Mango + Carrot + Mint Puree
You only need around 20 minutes to serve around 2 cups of peach + mango + carrot + mint puree. If you need an easy and quick puree to cook, then read and follow the recipe below from the start until the very end.
- Two medium sized of organic peaches
- Two organic mangos
- Four organic carrots,
- 4-6 mint leaves
- 100 ml of water or you can also use breast milk
1To start cooking this puree, you may peel the carrots with a peeler and cut the carrots into inch chunks. Then, prepare a medium saucepan and fill with water or breast milk. Place the carrots chunks in it and turn on the heat over medium heat to boil the water for around 10 minutes. Don’t forget to stir this continuously and you also need to cover the pan while boiling the water.
2While waiting for the carrots, you may use the time to pit and chop the peaches into small chunks and also do the same to the mangos. After that, place these fruits to the saucepan of carrots in it. Cook for 3 minutes. After it is done, give it rest in a while for cooling.
3In this step, you need to prepare for a blender or food processor to make the puree. Simply put all of the fruits and ingredients in the blender which also includes the mint leaves. Turn on the blender and pulse for a minute on high until the ingredients get smooth. Finally, you can serve this puree to your baby.
For the serving time, you may spoon your baby immediately with this puree, or if you want to give other combination to your baby food, then it is okay. Here, you can add with cooked millet along with the chicken puree so that your baby can enjoy a kind of chunky puree. Besides, you can also serve this with ricotta. For a fresher taste, you can include this puree to your tropical smoothie and combine with other ingredients like orange juice, spinach, honey, etc.
