How to Make Oreo Churros
You will find this recipe very similar to the original one. It is just that we add the Oreo sensation in the ingredients that changes the color as well.
- 36 sets of Oreo biscuits
- 1 cup of flour
- ⅓ cup of sugar
- ⅔ cup of sugar
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 whole eggs
- A cup of heavy cream
- 2 cups of water
- Frying oil
1Take two different bowls. Split the oreo. Put the biscuits on one bowl and put the filling into the other. Transfer the biscuits into a food processor and work on it until it is well crushed. Set aside. Take a cooking pot and add in ⅓ cup of sugar, butter, and water. Heat the pot and boil the mixture.
2When it is boiled, add in the biscuits crumbs and flour. Whisk them until it is well combined. Then add the eggs and whisk again. Set aside. Take a piping bag, add with a large sized star tip, and transfer this mixture into the bag. Set aside. Take a baking sheet and line it with a parchment paper. Using the piping bag, pop out the mixture into a five inch long churros. Do this until all of the mixture is used. Keep it in the fridge for at least two hours.
3When the curros are on perfect shape and stiffness, take a large frying pot. Add around 2 inches deep frying oil and heat it on 350°F. When the oil is hot, fry a batch of the churros. Fry for around two minutes and then flip. Fry again for two minutes for the other side. Take out the churros and drain.
4Take the other ⅔ cup of sugar and add it into a shallow salad bowl. Roll the drained churros on it and set aside. Meanwhile, in a small cooking pot, add in the oreo filling and melt it for around ten seconds. Set aside. Using a mixer, whisk the heavy cream in a bowl, then add the melted oreo filling. Whisk until it is all well combined. Add it on top or on the side of the churros for serving.
