How to make Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies
If you have finished following the recipe below, you can prepare a parchment paper or foil to wrap them and store them in an airtight plastic container so that you can enjoy these cookies anytime you want.
- 200 gr salted sweet cream butter
- 200 gr peanut butter
- 200 gr granulated sugar
- 200 gr packed brown sugar
- Two beaten eggs
- Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 450 gr flour
- A teaspoon of baking soda
- A teaspoon of baking powder
- 450 gr flour
- Melting wafers (dark chocolate)
- Confetti sprinkles
1To begin the step, you have to make the cookie dough. Simply prepare a mixing bowl and fill with some ingredients in it, like the cream butter and the peanut butter. Mix those ingredients until they are completely combined. Then, you may continue to add some more ingredients as written below.
2The other ingredients are a half cup of flour, both granulated and brown sugar. After all of these ingredients are well combined, you can continue to include the beaten eggs and the vanilla extract into the dough. Stir and mix the ingredients until the dough is fluffy.
3The process is not over yet. You still need to combine more ingredients, like the baking powder and the baking soda as well. After that, add the one cup of flour at a time and make it twice. So, here, you will add two cups of flour and mix them until they are well combined.
4Next, you need to roll the cookie dough into several balls. After that, place the balls on top of the cookie sheet. Before you bake the dough, make sure that you flatten the cookie balls so that they will look like biscuit forms instead of balls. Do the same steps to all of the cookie balls.
5Now, it is time to bake the cookie over 375 Fahrenheit-degree or around 190 celsius-degree for around 7 to 9 minutes. While waiting for the cookie to get cooked, you may use the time to make the chocolate melting. Follow the step below for the instructions.
6Prepare a microwave-safe bowl and fill with the dark chocolate melting wafers in it. Place it in a microwave and heat the microwave to melt the chocolate. While heating, you need to stir it occasionally every 10 seconds so that the chocolate will get completely melted.
After the cookies get cooked, you may dip half part of the cookie into the melted chocolate. Place them on a parchment paper and don’t forget to add sprinkles on top of each cookie. After that, you may allow them to cool for several minutes before serving.
