How to make Chicken, Cranberry & Brie Tartlets
Make 48 muffin cups of Chicken, Cranberry & Brie Tartlets at home by following the recipe written below from the beginning until the end.
- Two packages of puff pastry
- A cooked chicken breast, cut into a half inch pieces
- 300 gr cranberries
- 65 gr honey
- 45 ml water
- A teaspoon of mustard powder
- 100 gr brie cheese, slice into 48 pieces
- 50 gr chopped pecans
- 30 gr minced sage
1To start this recipe, you need to heat the oven over 375 Fahrenheit-degree or around 190 celsius-degree. Next, you may use the time to prepare for other ingredients, like the puff pastry. Here, you need to thaw the puff pastry sheets based on the instructions written in the package.
2Then, after they are completely thawed, you may continue to unfold the puff pastry into thirds. After that, use a sharp knife to cut each third puff pastry into 12 squares. Thus, make sure you can make these 12 equal squares into 48 smaller squares.
3Next, prepare the muffin tins. Here, you will need two greased muffin tins that each cup is needed to be filled with the puff pastry that you have prepared before. Put these muffin tins into the oven to bake for around 8 to 10 minutes until they are completely cooked.
4After 8 or 10 minutes passed, take the muffin tins out of the oven. Then, you need to prepare a wooden spoon to press the center part of each muffin in. Later, it will be used for the filling. Next, it is time for you to prepare for the filling based on the step below.
5Prepare a small saucepan and heat some ingredients in it, like the cranberries, water, honey and mustard powder. Stir and cook these ingredients until they boil. After that, lower the heat over medium and cook for another 5 minutes while stirring the mixture occasionally.
6When it is done, remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool for several minutes. Next, pour the cranberries sauce into the center of each muffin cup along with one piece of chicken and a slice or brie cheese as well. Do the same steps to the other muffin cups.
Bring the muffin tins back to the oven to bake for around 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese gets completely melted. Then, remove them from the oven, and it is time to garnish. Here, you may add the chopped pecans along with the minced sage on top of each muffin.
